About the role

As a Service engineer, you are a key part of RemaSawco's team. You work partly with the optimization of our customers' production processes, such as flow analysis, trimming of equipment, and as advisers when it comes to improvements. You also work with service, automation and commissioning of RemaSawco's products at our customers. The role also includes PLC programming / support on sequence controls and e.g. online connection for remote diagnosis. The role is broad and varied, and you will be allowed to run your own projects, participate in larger projects and handle support. You get a lot of personal responsibility and we offer great opportunities for development! The job entails travel, approx. 60-100 days/year, mainly in Norway / Sweden, our office is in Kongsvinger.

 Your profile

To thrive in the role, you should have an interest in technology and good computer skills. As a person, you must be outgoing and social, and like to take your own initiative. We are looking for you who:

Has education and experience in automation, recent graduates can also apply
Is familiar with PLC programming (preferably in Siemens systems)
Has educational facilities and is curious
Master Norwegian and English well in both speech and writing
Driving license class B

If you have experience in sawmilling, this is an advantage, but not a requirement.

In addition, we see that you are flexible and structured. You must be able to adapt to several settings as the days can be very varied and at a high pace.
